1. Platform and Technology
The competition will be conducted on the exam.net platform. This tool was selected for its robust security and integrity features, ensuring a stable and secure examination environment for all participants.
No. The competition is designed as a "closed-book" examination. We intend to use platform mechanisms that restrict access to external websites or files. Detailed instructions on system requirements and integrity rules will be released in May 2026.
While the official language of the competition is English, the chosen platform may offer automated translation tools.
2. Participants
Participation will be open to professionals officially affiliated with INTOSAI member institutions. Please note that specific eligibility criteria, including any potential restrictions for certain roles or groups, will be formally established and detailed in the official competition rules.

Please note that all competition assessments will be based exclusively on the official IFPP pronouncements, focused on INTOSAI Principles and Standards. We encourage you to begin reviewing these materials today to deepen your knowledge and enhance your readiness for the exam.
3. Competition Structure and Rules
To ensure maximum global participation and accessibility, both phases of the competition will be conducted entirely online. There is no requirement for physical travel or in-person attendance at any stage of the event.
The exact dates for Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be defined by the end of the registration period and will be published on this website. Currently, Phase 1 is estimated to occur in September or October 2026, followed by Phase 2 in October or November 2026.
The number of questions and the time limit for each exam are currently being calibrated to ensure a fair and challenging assessment. These details will be finalized in May 2026.
A maximum of 50 participants will advance to Phase 2. For detailed information on qualification criteria, please consult the Official Rules.
4. Competition Structure and Rules
Winners will receive awards focused on professional development, such as funding or reimbursement for professional certifications (with IDI’s PESA as the preferred option), training programs, or language courses.
